God bless this young man for standing up for his constitutional rights while being incredibly polite and non-confrontational. God knows I would have lost my mind and been screaming for a lawyer and a cop.

God bless the ACLU. It does not matter whether your issue is PC or not. If someone violates your rights they stand up for you.

Be an American! Stand up for your right to travel anywhere you wish, with any amount of money you wish, with any kind of comic book you wish! As long as it is within the borders of our great country no one has the right to question you about anything other than whether you have a gun or a bomb!

Since when did God issue an ID card or number? I am who I say I am, you the state have nothing to say about it. I reject your simple ID request or complex schemes to deny me my God-given right to travel to anywhere I please at any time I feel like it. Example, excuse me Christopher Columbus, Eric the Red, Leif Ericson, Marco Polo, we need to see your ID card. Doesn't this sound a little ridiculous? I am not worried about the Muslim or other terrorists, not when we have such imbedded in our own government, who do worse things they the others are accused of. What? No weapons or explosives, see you later dude.

With the recent detention of a comic book writer for a comic book in his possession at the Los Angeles International Airport, it's clear the courts and congress (not to mention the American people) still have a lot of work ahead of them when it comes to bringing accountability to the TSA.
